Buon giorno,
ho un problema con degli switch in cascata fra loro su cui è configurato rstp.
Il problema è che stranamente mi ritrovo due switch che risultano essere entrambi, root bridge delle stesse Vlan.
La configurazione è composta da due core switch cisco 4506 collegati fra loro , a cui sono collegati questi tre switch da due coppie di fibre.
Ma come è possibile?

Non è che hai qualche filtro sulle porte di connessione tra i 2 switch? Mi
sembra che possa essere l'unico motivo per cui i due spanning-tree possano non
vedersi.

Teoricamente per ripristinare la cosa ti dovrebbe bastare dare il comando
"spanning-tree vlan xxx-yyyy root"

sembra che possa essere l'unico motivo per cui i due spanning-tree possano non
vedersi.

Mi posti il risultato di uno sh cdp neigh e sh vlan id 3 (per fare un esempio)
